To do this, I utilize approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) integrated with biblical truth to help explore thoughts, feelings, and choices in a compassionate and empathetic way. I believe that while we are responsible for these, we also need grace and patience as we face the challenges to change. I have 6 years of experience working with children on the Autism spectrum in clinical ABA settings. While I do not provide ABA services here at GrowthPoint, I have seen the challenges that the experience of Autism has on an individual as well as the parents and family and would be able to help address these for older-adolescence to adult age individuals and their families.
