My goal as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is to help others live with themselves and relate with others as we are intended to-with health and function, not with illness and dysfunction. To do this, I utilize approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) integrated with biblical truth to help explore thoughts, feelings, and choices in a compassionate and empathetic way. I believe that while we are responsible for these, we also need grace and patience as we face the challenges to change. My degrees are from Evangel University (BA- Psychology) as well as Dallas Baptist University (MA- Professional Counseling).

As an LPC, I work with individuals and couples in the areas of anxiety, adjustment, depression, grief, anger, guilt/shame, communication, and pornography addiction.

I have 6 years of experience working with children on the Autism spectrum in clinical ABA settings. While I do not provide ABA services here at GrowthPoint, I have seen the challenges that the experience of Autism has on an individual as well as the parents and family and would be able to help address these for older-adolescence to adult age individuals and their families.
